Ant Programming Guide

Available Commands

• api.move(steps) - Move forward by specified steps
• api.turn(increments) - Turn by given number of 90-degree increments (positive = right, negative = left)
• api.gather() - Gather food if near food source
• api.deposit() - Deposit carried food at anthill
• api.attack() - Attack nearby enemies
• api.scan() - Returns nearby entities with relative directions
• api.wait(ms) - Wait for specified milliseconds
• api.log(message, level) - Log a message (levels: ERROR, WARN, INFO, DEBUG, VERBOSE)

Ant Properties

• api.position - Get ant's exact position {x, y}
• api.gridPosition - Get ant's grid position {x, y}
• api.direction - Get ant's current direction in degrees
• api.carryingFood - Amount of food being carried
• api.maxCarry - Maximum food carrying capacity
• api.energy - Current energy level
• api.health - Current health level

Ant Program Limitations

• Maximum program runtime: 5 minutes
• Maximum command iterations: 1,000,000
• Maximum wait time per call: 5 seconds
• Programs yield to event loop every 100ms
• Programs that exceed these limits will be terminated
• Action queue is cleared on program errors
